I feel so lucky to have learned 3 'new' things today which will make both my music and gigs go smoother now:

first: Uncle Dave's suggestion of switching the foot controler pedals assignments which will enable me to use the 'same' pedal to trigger 'pitch bend' and 'sustain'.

second: Bsharps' excellent suggestion carpet/rug with velcro idea to keep foot pedals from moving.

and NOW, my 3rd January 11th (self) discovery (ha ha, I actually discovered this one on my own):

The Yamaha PSR2000 only supports loading 'one' Memory Registration Bank (of 8 individual registration) at a time. What I didn't know is that there's a feature which will AUTOMATICALLY load the next Memory Registration Bank when you reach the end (registration #8) of the first memory bank. This is a fantastic discovery because many of my songs require me to move thru more than 8 custom registration setups. I think I'll 'mark' this day (1/11/02) down as a momentous day in my arranger keyboard journey. Thanks to everyone (especially Nigel Spence) for making this forum great.

oh, I forgot to tell you PSR2000 owners how to access and set this feature:

1) go to Function > Regist. Sequence
2) set Sequencer End to: Next Bank

Happy birthday Tom & Guillermo

The #11 in Numerology is considered a Master # with special meaning over the others (#22 & #33 are the other two).
It is believed by those who study Numerology that more dramatic things can happen (Sept 11)

Just mentioning it for those interested.

Eric
