I polished off lots of smoked salmon, chunks of swiss cheese, sardines, pickles, and other winderful things along the same lines. However, there was a definite craving for a monster, New York Works Style bagel covered with cream cheese, crumbled bacon, and thin slices of smoked salmon. If I could find a bagel without carbs I would have loved the Atkins program.

Cheers,

Gary

The craving for "bad" food will go away after a few days.
I eat sugar-free Jello with whipped cream, cheese, beef jerky, or Porkskins, to name a few snacks.
Adkins makes some wonderful "legal" candy bars, after you get past the first phase or two.
Hang in there, it gets easier when you start watching the weight fall off.

Have plenty of cut-up celery handy to dip in cream cheese. Mmmmmm. Green peppers too.
Atkins shakes are very tasty and they are only 1 gram of carbs. Loaded with minerals too.
If you are drinking the required 8 glasses of H20 .... you can stay pretty full all day. Your body craves sugar .... NOT sweet tastes. The craving will cease....patience. It works !
