Can someone help me with this. I've just updated the OS on my A-90. This includes name maps for a few more expansion cards which I'm trying to assign. I am using a JV-2080. The name map specifies a 1080 and I'm not sure whether this is the problem. Basically I can't get any names to appear. Roland has no tech support, the manual is NO @#($*!@& help and I haven't found any Newsgroups for Roland yet. Any help would be most appreciated.

2080 is there. Find it past the 4 user name maps on the list. Not next to 1080.
You can then also cursor over and put in your plugin cards (if any)
Your 2080 will be addressed at BM 81, BL 0 to 4.
Your cards will start at BM 84, BL 0 and up depending on how many you have.

If you are using A-70/A-90 Name Maps, especially for instruments not in the presets, you may wish to download the FREE Map Manager software from Li'l Chips Systems. http://www.lilchips.com
Although the software was developed and tested on an A-70, it should work equally as well on an A-90.
