I'm also wondering if anyone uses something other than an additional arranger, say a Motif, Juno or X50 or maybe an XK-1...

Any controller keyboards being used with modules or software?

Cassp,
I'm using Roland XP60 for the 2nd board on top of SD1, just for providing different sounds, which I plan to replace with PA1X PRO, I know it sounds like an over kill, but I like having 2 boards, each one do provide different in sounds.

My second keyboard backup:

Roland A33 keyboard controller with a GEN (General Music) ' RealPiano Expander ' sound module, which includes highly impressive 'string resonance', 'damper pedal' and 'key release' physical modeling features.
