Well after a server meltdown we are back online again. Unfortunately we lost a few days of postings when the backup of the files were restored so you may have to repost messages that you posted over that time. Sorry about that ... but it could have been much much worse.

scared the s--t out of me to not have the synth zone for a couple of days. I was just getting ready to start emailing some of my friends to see if I was the only one not able to get to the zone. We really would be lost without the synthzone wouldn't we? Just remember this when the bickering starts again! Thanks Nigel......you the man!

Nigel, I had just returned from n eight day RV motor trip. When I tried to log with no success I knew how important this place is to me. I start my day with Zynthzone and end my day in the same way, and it was not there. Ouch!
I realize things got out of hand on the Zone a few days ago and the meltdown had a way of clearing the air so to speak. If I was in your position I'm not sure how I would have handled it mate. Thanks again for your generosity and for bringing the Zone back online in such short order. :thu:
Best, Mike

I noticed that the SZ was down again earlier today (Sunday) for a while. I guess the kinks are still being worked out. I suppose it doesn't help things either when it's connected to the California power grid. Or is the Server still located in Texas?? Either way, things are up and running presently and there's a noticable performance boost - on my end anyway.
Best, Mike

Yes sorry about that. It actually isn't the server this time but some problems with the company providing DNS. It is just a bad coincidence that both problems have occurred around the same time. But when the DNS screws up it is leaving you looking at the old broken server that is still online.
