Finally they announced it, they have been hiding it like snake hides her legs.

There has been rumors about it for almost a year, and some shops evene listed the price two months ago.

trident,

Prices here in Croatia are not relevant, because most of the equipment is overpriced, i.e. sold for MSRP, but I can tell You the prices advertised (converted to EUR):

Korg Pa-800 - 2.600 EUR
Korg Pa-500 - 1.100 EUR

But I wouldn't believe to much in this price (for Pa-500), because it was advertised about two months prior official release, and it seem too cheap (just 40% of the Pa-800 price). So I guess it might be around 1.500 EUR.

Looks like the updated PA50..as the PA800 was the updated PA80..

Price and features are in the same class as the Roland E-50..

I like that Korg has retained the audio inputs.

I had a chance to see and play the PA500 yesterday. It is very nice. It is built in china in a factory wich only builds Korg products. It has all the sound and style content of the PA800 but without the sampling capabilities, the drawbar organ simulator, the vocal harmonizer and instead of a USB device port there is an SD card slot on the back.
The selling price here in the USA is $1499.00 (MAP).

Let's see...at least in the higher end, probably the mini key MK-100 (1983) or the PS-6100 (1984)...but I'm only guessing off the top of my head.

More importantly...what manufacturer will be the first to return to black?

PSR-50 came out in 1985...there were three models...the 50, 60 and the top of the line PSR-70.

Here...I found the Yamaha chronology list:
