I need help. I have read the MC 303 manual and still for the life of me I can't figure out how to assign sounds to specific keys. I might just be over looking somthing. I would also like to chat with someone regarding the MC 303 and thing I can do with it. I find the manual boring and hard to read.

Thanks

It's MIDI and assigning functions are very limited . You will be more dissapointed in the ridiculously low memory and the fact that there is nothing you can do to those awefull factory patterns which take up the memory .

I hated mine , I got rid of it . There is a use for it though , everthing has a useful purpose . I'm not into that groove box mentality though .

I must admit I'm not into the groove thing either, however I think I maybe able to do somthing with the 303. My Korg DDD-5 is fairly old, but it is more effective than the 303. However I have spent all this money on it, I will have to write a few songs on before I even consider getting rid of it.

What did you get to replace the 303???

Its my first MIDI piece of equipment, and I will surely get rid of it. Hated it.
I am just into real studio equipment now, you'll get so much more out of it and never have to sell it.

Ok with you all,MC303 is a trap ! i am selling mine, now, especially since i've got ElecTribe R and A from Korg...Low memory, stupid "eternel" resident patterns, small cheezzzzzy soundzzzz, porr midi implementation, no GM or Gs...this machine is a crime against synthesizer...Hate it.
