That's why I use a body glove CASE, it's not a flight case or can be dropped out of a plane, but it uses padding against a reinforced plywood type material, similar to a road case.

I was recently in a bad wreck (a drunk hit us from behind at over 90 mph!). It spun the car around several times and slammed us into a concrete wall. My G70 was in the back (a mini-SUV) with some other gear, in it's hard case (SBC, had it since my G1000, over ten years). I'm OK, BTW! But the car was totaled. My G70...?

Not a mark, still works 100%. A soft bag, or even a lightweight case would not, I believe, have saved it.

Thank God for REAL hard cases. I've got a dolly. And a working G70!
