I'm assuming you've already purchased the G70 so if you have, I'm curious to hear your experiences gigging with the G70.

Likes, Dis-Likes? (Let's hope we can do this without Fran putting you in a choke hold ;-))

Donny can't play "gigs" anymore. He's wearing a back brace from loading 200lbs onto that rock n' roller cart, three time s a day !
(nothin' but love for ya, man !)

So Donny, what ARE you playing right now? And you don't have the Yorkvilles yet, do you?

I know I must have missed something....Donny, did you just buy/sell a G70 recently?

What are you using for now? I thought you might try for a Tyros2 or a PA2XPRO.

I was on your site last night...some great singing on there, buddy....first class!

Damn, Nigel is going to have to publish a playbook so I can follow what the heck is going on?

So Donny, you had the G70, and unloaded it already? ROFLMAO

No remorse yet, but I did just see Bill post about the Audya shipping this summer...my wallet is already itching.

Hi Ian....first off let me say Im glad your feeling better & back on the SZ, I hope you recover fast and are back to making great music as normal.
Thanx for visiting my website I appreciate it. There's a nice mix of demos done on a few different arrangers there.

I was thinking of getting another G70 a few weeks ago....too busy gigging to really look....meanwhile I sold my pa800 & as of now using a S900 for the time being with many workarounds to keep me content as much as possible....but my eyes are open for a change in the future for sure. Im busy getting my latest sound system in order
I'll surly post whats happening for sure

Ciao

Well, just think of the money you saved by not going down that path a second time, Donny

Do that often enough (persuade yourself NOT to buy, no matter how hungry you are for change!) and you might actually be able to buy the Audya when it comes out with what you have saved!

(You'll sell it a few weeks later, but that's another story)...

But the S900 is perfect for you, being the logical successor to the 3k, which was the only thing you settled on for any length of time in the past. You can DATE the supermodels, but you always go home to the girl next door... She's the only one that understands you!

Yep, I gotta agree Diki...the "supermodels" may look great, but it's always the "girls next door" that seem to do everything every bit as well, but no with no hassles.

Using another analogy, that's why I gravitated (literally) to the S900 as opposed to the Tyros2...it's like a friendly but plain little mutt that barks with the same authority as the big dogs, but without the handling problems.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight... ...it's the size of the fight in the dog!

Donny,

Does Nancy know you are dating supermodels? Naw you'd be dead.

Donny you will never be happy with a product that isn't a Yamaha. You try all those other boards and you always go back to a Yamaha. Face it my friend you are hooked. The first thing to beating an addiction is to face it and admit it. It's ok. We all have these addictions, Fran on Roland, Don Mason torn between Yamaha and Ketron, me hooked on Ketron but beginning to love my G70 and so on. Even poor Boo is hooked on that antique of a Korg.

Feel the force Donny. Go with it don't fight it, and stay away from all supermodels except Nancy.

Tom

Hi, my name is Donny. (hi Donny)

And I am an arranger addict...

But I've been free and clear of any new arrangers for eight weeks now (applause)

It's been hard, what with all the talk at SZ, and Fran coming round to egg me on.. (first taste is free!)

But I am living with a good arranger now, actually my old flame's younger sister (don't ask how weird THAT is!), and the shakes are starting to go away... (applause, building to cheers!)

But I know I'll always be an addict, I just have to take it one arranger at a time...

Now, let me tell you about my new PA...

WHAT...?! Too soon...?

I've met Nancy, and I'm confident that if Donny were dating anyone other than her he would be singing with a much higher voice.

Cheers,

Gary

Yes Diki .....not too soon....but rather not at all I would say..I'm not interested in a few more keys
Content? ....yes for the moment.......
eyes open?..... yes of course
btw there are other things in regards to new gear besides arrangers to get a man excited (takes bow, exit, stage left)

Me, with a supermodel, chas...? Not likely!

My date is a bit tall (but I like to stretch out), and a bit overweight, but I'm old school... I like a little meat on the bone, gives you something to grip on to.

She's a little long in the tooth, but a keeper. Kept my last one for ten years. She keeps it real, and that is all I'm looking for. Honesty.

She doesn't have all the latest clothes, but at least they don't hide a bulimic karaoke wannabe... Strip MINE down to the bare essentials, and she's rarin' to go! Smooth in the transitions, and all heart! Her moves are deceptively simple, but put mine on top of hers, and it's a night to remember...

As long as she doesn't have a younger sister with a chord sequencer, I think we're gonna make it!

Ain't lust grand...

diki ....

Im hoping that adding the TC Helicon Harmony M module to my pitiful kazoo like S900 vocalizer which will hopefully bring vocals up to par like the G70, SD1, & Pa800, & some new sound reinforcement ideas I'm working on will offer me some comfort until we see what comes out next year.
