Larry is a long time member of this Synthzone and is also the person that put up the picture machine across the Bottom.
Larry wrote me that he lost his Father Bill who was also an arranger player. They were very close.
Those that have known Larry here through the years might like to post their condolences to him and his family, as we are his extended family. Larry is a super fine man and a really great friend to all.
Larry, I pray that God will use your tears to heal your grief. We do understand this grief, and share it with you.
One day a father died.
And on that clear, cold morning,
in the warmth of his bedroom,
the son was struck with
the pain of learning that sometimes
there isn't any more.
No more hugs,
no more lucky moments to celebrate together,
no more phone calls just to chat,
no more "just one minute"
Sometimes, what we care about the most goes away.
never to return before we can say good-bye,
Say "I Love You."
So while we have it . . it's best we love it . .
And care for it and fix it when it's broken
and take good care of it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage .... and friendships ..
And children with bad report cards;
And dogs with bad hips;
And aging parents and grandparents
We keep them because they are worth it,
Because we cherish them!
Some things we keep --
like a best friend who moved away
or a classmate we grew up with.
There are just some things that
make us happy, No matter what.
Life is important,
and so are the people we know
And so, we keep them close!
I received this from someone today
who thought I was a 'KEEPER'!
Then I am posting it here to the people
I Think of in the same way!
Thank you very much for
being a special part of MY Life!
Friends are angels who lift us up when our wings forget how to fly.

Larry, We're here for you. I hear Kenny Rogers once say that you're never really a man till your father is gone. I guess it's a right of passage....like he's giving you the torch to carry. Be strong, my friend.

Larry,

It's never easy losing a parent, no matter when or what age. I pray you will be surrounded by God's peace at this time. Hold fast to the memories and cherish the bond that you shared. I also know the pain of losing both my mom and my dad. Time does heal, but right now you have our sympathy and prayers.

Tim

Larry,

My thoughts go out to you. My Dad taught me keyboards and long time ago and we shared the love of music together. I think of him often as I play and I'm sure you'll have fond memories too.

Larry
My deepest condolences for your great loss.

You will no doubt be feeling very low at the moment, this is absolutely normal and necessary.

I have over the years lost all of my maternal and paternal families and have needed some time to grieve.
But I now think of all of them and SMILE because of the good times we had and the laughs we had about life.
I pray that your grief will be soon over and the memories long and happy.

I don't think Larry would mind my posting this here.
Although his time was too short, Larry's dad must have had a very interesting and full life, and was no doubt a devoted husband and father. http://www.legacy.com/mcall/Obituaries.asp?Page=Lifestory&PersonId=105563716

Dear Larry,

Deepest condolences to you and your family in the loss of your father. I really enjoyed the newspaper obituary about his life. Your dad certainly lived a rich life filled with lots of music & I know you'll treasure all he's passed on to you thru your music as well.

On another topic: not sure if you received the email I sent you earlier, but thanks again for thinking of me and sending me the "Disney On Ice" tickets you won. Sorry they sent you the show for at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA, and not one located a 'little' closer to where YOU live (Pennsylvania). My cousin and his family (with 2 young girls: 4 & 11) really enjoyed the show. If I ever win tickets for an event in your area, I promise to return the favor. You've made 2 little girls very happy. Thanks again.

Scott
