Although I am not a big MP3 user, there could be times it could be useful. I can get a recertified one for $149.I would run it through the G-70 or direct into my Bose. I would appreciate any feedback. Bernie

Thanks Donny. I am trying to wean myself of the laptop. My G-70 is great for SMF and that was all I was using my laptop for.

BTW, do you have to have a driver installed ?, because The driver that came with the G-70 crashed my laptop, and I had to go to last good configuration.

Forget it, I forgot I wouldn't be using my laptop.

Thanks guys, I will rethink the pro's and cons. No single song turns me off cold.

cassp I read 82 reviews on the H2, and they were 99% good. It is certainly a contender.
