No you would have to use the PG-300 as the cables used are not standard midi cables like the PG-300 so there is no way you could even plug them in.
Roland programmers use sysex strings to control synth parameters, so even though it is midi data it can't control anything other than the synths it's intended for. For more info take a look at the
