A quick way to check speakers are wired correctly in phase.
Face speaker grills together 2 to 3 inch apart and then swap over L&R of just one speaker. The option giving the most bass is the correct one.

These computer speakers are actually NOT made for playing instruments through. I sold my Z5500 because of the lack of mid-range & all the thin wires, remote control etc etc just too annoying to set up. Im in the process of trying out two Roland KC 150 Kb amps with the stereo link. They really sound clear and more then enough power using one or two. Quality build also.
Or I will also try two powered Mackie, FBT, Yorkville speakers as I try to come up with the perfect combination of gear to perform with for me hopefully in a few months..

I agree with John DiLeo. The Tyros' own speaker system w/sub certainly lacks oomph! and other speakers in the same category i.e. "small satellites w/sub" just can't muster the sound that a keyboard such as the Tyros deserves to be heard with. These little Logitech, etcetera, type of speakers are simply not powerful enough [read: NOT PRO quality grade] and you really need something on a PRO quality level to really make that $3,000 instrument shine as it was meant to. I have a Tyros 1 also and if I'm gonna spend 3 G notes on a keyboard I'm not going to skimp on speakers if I don't have to. OTOH, if the Tyros broke your bank then cheesy speakers may be your only recourse, but if it were me I would save up and eventually get some pro level speakers for your Tyros and in the mean time listen to it through the Sennheiser HD 280 'PRO' headphones.

Except stereo!

for in house as in (Home Player DIKI ), I use the setup I bought from Donnie P and they are fine for this recording studio.
they are a Left and Right Bose 161 speakers and used in combination with the Yamaha Sub woofer that is for this Tyros 2. I like it fine for in here.
When it goes out to work it uses either a pair of Peavey KB 100's or the Motion Sound key - Pro KP-200 S.
I am ok with all three setups except for the weight of the Peavey's. they are pretty heavy but my wife can still pack one in each hand from the car to the clubhouse
I would help her but Peavy only put one handle on each one
