As it is, I have to make these types of intros for myself.

Just another old feature touted as a new one. The PA1X had this feature 4 years ago and still does. The PA800 just inherited it .

Get a piano, or shut up about 'cheating', because you are doing it yourself, in one form or another. That high horse you are sitting on is a miniature pony, in truth...

WOW! I'm agreeing with Diki on the one totaly. Good post.

Just thought I'd quote this one in case the original ever gets deleted

(Just funning with ya', Donny... You and I see eye to eye on a LOT of things, truth be told. We just have a different way of expressing it, occasionally...!)

BTW, while we are on the topic of Intros...

Is there any arranger out there that will display the chords (in whatever key it is started in) of a preset Intro?

This one drives me crazy... I'd like to play a solo on top of a style I don't use very much (if at all!), but if I use the preset Intro (but the one without a solo part already recorded), I don't have a clue as to what the chord sequence is. The chord display in the main window only displays the FIRST chord you played. At least Roland ADDED a feature that counts down how many bars long it is (OS2, I think, maybe OS3, I don't remember), but it doesn't help with the changes.

Anything got this feature...? It ought to be on ALL arrangers, IMO...

The Yammies won't show the intro chords...either whilst playing or after recording and playing back...even on the "Score Page".

That would be handy to have a read out.

Perhaps it is the reason so many DO 'pantomime' the Intros to a lot of tunes, because there is no way to remember them all (if you use a LOT of styles), and rather than bollox up the Intro, it's just safer to let it play?

Maybe we ALL ought to be screaming for this feature...

I can't call Arranger keyboards: "one man band"
especially when compared to this:

Now if he only knew more than three chords.. all diatonic

Shame he hasn't learned about music first, THEN decided to try to triple up. But hey, isn't that the perfect arranger user..?
