I thought you simply wanted to use the SD5 gain to control both.

To use the SD5 software to control 2 mics independently (MIC1 and MIC2), you will need to have an adaptor as such (One 1/4" Stereo male output with TWO 1/4" Mono Female inputs). Both mics should be identical.

The one I have is Radio Shack. Two mono females to one stereo male.
