I just may break tradition, and buy a silent slab one day.......IF it sounds as good as it looks. Anyone hear it yet?

Unlike all the clamor and speculation on the Tyros3, the new G-series arranger doesn't seem to evoke much interest, or at the very least, some musing on what Roland connoisseurs expect or hope for on the G-70's replacement.

Ok, now you've done it. You've opened Pandora's box with your NEW ROLAND G remark. What do you mean by NEW? Did Fran put you up to this? What do you know that we don't know? What are you hiding? IS it really new and does ity weigh any less than a G70? Is it a 76 key E80? SPILL THE BEANS or suffer the consequences.

Ian its just that speculation at this point for Yamaha & Roland's new arrangers .......lets just wait and see shall we. At this point Im very happy with the sounds on the 3 big guys....all I'm interested in is better less repetitive Styles, better quality features like VH & most of all NAVAGATION to operate them as "separately & independently" as possible.

Just curious what the Roland users want on the next G-series...we've already discussed the upcoming Tyros3 to the point of exhaustion.

Probably no one is that interested....and that's okay....just checkin'.

Independent simultaneous mode operation
Adjustable angle display screen
On Board speakers
Front DUAL USB ports
Many more & customizable D Beam choices

I think UD is talking about the new "Fantom" G keyboard if I'm not mistaken.

Best,

Sexy? Dave you GOTTA come back to Kentucky. We can do a duet of the "Todd R" song "we gotta get you a WOMAN!".
