I had an Apex stand and really did not care for it at all. Two main issues made me send it back...

1) My sustain pedals weren't able to be where I wanted them...

2) The amount of bounce from my fairly lightweight board wasn't acceptable to me...I went back to using my Quic-Loc ws-550

Anyone else having this problem, try using Heavy Duty Velcro (the kind that is strong plastic on BOTH sides) and firmly attach the light keyboard to the stand. It does wonders to decrease bounce and sway...

I use a WS550 for my K2500 because it is so heavy (it makes the G70 feel like an S900!) an X-stand or Apex won't hold it steady if you play at one end or the other (I do a lot of LH bass) but it's a bit heavy to cart around and awkwardly shaped for much live use, and difficult to get to not wobble if you extend it for playing standing....

The PC-80 Performance chair looks interesting.
I have four different keyboard stands, but I found a flat top, poly, restaurant tray stand that works very nicely with the help of a little velcro. It's light, easy to tote, and can hold the PA800. I'm sure it wouldn't do for a G-70 or anything heavier than the PA800.
Ciao,
Jerry

I talked to Frankieve he said the Ultimate Support Apex AX-90 Keyboard stand should be available after the first of the year. If anyone has news about the stands release date I would sure like to know.

One of these days some enterprising keyboard manufacturer is going to design a remote keyboard with all the controls to the left and right of the keyboard. Sure, it would make for a long keyboard, but it would allow you to stack it underneath the main keyboard at close to organ spacing...

I'm fed up of having to have the keyboards separated by a foot or more, just so you can see the display and controls. Anyone who has played a B3 or home organ (or both at the same time if you are Russ ) knows how easy it is to switch manuals when they are THAT close together

I don't know, I had an apex years ago. At that time I was using two keyboards. I gave it away, because it was not steady enough and interfered with my pedals. Sound familiar? I bought a different Ultimate stand.

It was made of plastic, easy to assemble within a minute or two and made so I could sit down to play. It also included a music stand or you were able to buy adapters to add a second keyboard. I eventually got rid of everything on it but the three main pieces. These just snap together to make a wonderful stand. It looks very professional, like it was made for the keyboard sitting on it,and gives plenty of space for pedals as well. There is absolutely no keyboard bounce either. It's got to have been more than ten or fifteen years ago that I bought that Ultimate stand. It's looking a little moth eaten about now, and is cracked in one place. I'd give my eye teeth to get a new stand like it.

It was made by Ultimate, and for me it has proven to be the ultimate keyboard stand for the man who really needs to sit down when he plays.

I even have the stand mentioned above, but I'm just trying to sell it for HankB's widow.
I've actually unloaded, I mean sold quite a bit of my extra stuff lately, but still have a garage and office full.
