I'm honored to perform a few shows on Fathers day......I know without my fathers guidance since I was 7yrs old introducing the gift of music in me &teaching me the ropes, I wouldn't be where I am today doing what I love for a living & I appreciate it dearly & tell him all the time & he's 85! So when I perform at a facility & see a smile on some Fathers faces either there with their families or many who are there all alone...its makes me feel good that I can bring back some good memories for them thru my music & have them Make the world go Away for the time I'm there!!!

Wow Donny you are so lucky to still have your dad. Mine's been gone for 30 years. Like yours, he showed me the ropes and introduced me to a lifetime of music. To this day he's still the best musician I've ever met. I used to sneak into places to hear him play when I was a kid and once I could play he always included me in his band. I wouldn't be doing this today if it wasn't for my dad.
