Massaging SMF:

- Put them in sequencer mode and record the tracks (one at a time) you want to edit, or change sounds, tempo, etc
- Drop down, save to the Song Mode
- In Song Mode, put in OTS/balances, PADS and use SPLIT mode.
- Play the correct chords and use the vocal harmony (any type) button.

AWESOME

For all my seq play applications, I put the kb in full mode with the upper arranger button lit. This allows me to play 2 handed piano/gtr/etc. while triggering fantastic harmonies that don't go crazy trying to follow moving bass lines that might change their character too much. This is my prefered method of SMF playback. I always have to have the harmonies - it's my trademark sound.

Good UD -

Me too! Could never live again without the harmonizer - a huge part of my performance. I prefer to play chords instead of piano mode. I don't find any harmony note conflicts doing it this way.

After 2am this morning, I still could not find how to save OTS changes to my new smf saved songs. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Zuki....why so bitter about Roland products......? Please share your thoughts so potential buyers can learn more.
I myself look forward to their next arranger for sure.

Zuki... did you actually TRY the G70 harmonizer while you had one?

It would be interesting to hear how you feel the two harmonizers compared.

OTS, and I assume you mean STS by that, settings cannot be save to midi file. They are saved to the SSD-(factory), and are recalled by selecting them either with style, performance or a songbook entry.

They don't compare..The G70 is more advanced..easier to use...and sounds better...
