I had a Roland Juno 2, but my studio was broken into and it was stolen along with my RD300s and MT-32. I am looking to rebuild from the ground up and considering a used Juno1 instead of the Juno2. What are the differences in these two boards?

Juno 1 has 49 keys and Juno 2, 61 keys. Don´t know about enhanced features....

1?

The Juno-2 also had a velocity sensitive keyboard, with after-touch (when it worked).
The Juno-1 receives this infomation via MIDI, but the keyboard doesn't generate it.

That's about the only differences otherwise.

yeah I know what you mean about the touch sensitivity I've been gigging my J2 for nearly 10 years and you really have to lean on the keys to get the after touch working
not the best .....I really must get round to upgrading my live rig......
