I am glad I am NOT the only one that say that is probably one of the WORSE Demos I ever heard, and to show it in a NAMM show, shame on Roland.
When I did demos in Organs at the AOAI and some other shows, and some manufacturers in the Midwest, not even in a bad day and with only one hand I ever sounded like that.
Roland NEEDS !!! to hire ARRANGER specialist, not regular workstations players. ( I am NOT asking for a job either).
Like I said in a previous post, There are 2 types of Demos, one to "Flash and Dash" (Lots or personal skills and squeeze the best features of the product/arranger) to impress possible buyers, and, the other is more like a Clinic/Seminar (more technical) to show the sales persons how to Demo the arrangers, well, this demo was neither.
This is what can turn "on" or OFF a listener/buyer, besides, in the "demo", the "Latin" concept is Misused, not because it has a Merengue (not that great) means is "loaded" with Latin styles.
VERY POOR Demo.
