My Dealer quoted me a price for T3 in Pennsylvania, USA!
« on: Today at 09:04:03 pm »

I have a great dealer in the U.S., and it's Alto Music in New York. I've dealt with this dealer before and they are very fair, and service is exceptional. I live in Pennsylvania, and I've found them to me the most responsive to me.
Here is the latest email I received from Alto Music:

Hi Stan,

The Tyros 3 will sell for $3269.99. They are due to arrive the first week of October if all goes well.

Best Regards,

Chris Saulpaugh - Keyboards / Pro Audio

WOW..., that's less than the current Tyros 2! How many does this store buy in a shippment to sell them at this price.

Zzounds.com has the new T3 listed at $3899.95

That's roughly 10 up from dealer cost so they're working on a small profit margin for sure. Sometimes you need to make little profit just to be competitive with the likes of GC. At least they are discounting it. I'm sure some unscrupulous dealers will charge near list or MAP pricing.

I recently bought a PA2x from them, and they were the best price I could find -- and I searched. They were quick to deliver and shipping was very cheap.

A+

I paid $2,800 for my T2 and I bought it the week it came out... All you have to do is search and make a few extra phone calls. I bought four keyboards altogether from my dealer, but lately he's raised his prices a lot higher ... I think Alto's Music is very reasonable, and based on my experience with him, you won't find much lower.

You didn't give me a try?

Chony, did you give me a chance at that price?

I'm hurt

There you go problem solved, So I guees the T3 won't be so bad @ $3300 dollars. I sure non chain dealers like sam ash, gc will be able to provide great prices. I'm hoping that the audya will be a lot less. I reach out to Frank V. when its released and take it for a spin.

This dealer is about 15 minutes from my house and I have been doing business with Alto music for at least 15 years. Chris and I are good friends. I have directed many folks over to them for business in the past. Mention my name and Chris might knock off a few more dollars.

Chony didn't you email me over at KorgForums about what I paid for my Pa2xpro?

Just so you know, they have 3 locations now and their flagship store in Middletown is the size of a BIG BOX hardware store, it's huge. Check them out at www.altomusic.com

Frank has beat any other dealers price that I tried. Give him a shot. He's a first class dealer make no mistake. I purchased my Tyros 2 from Alto Music as well, but at that time I really didn't know Frank and he wasn't a Yamaha dealer.
