January 18, 19, 20. Still working on the details, but DNJ and Fran can come 18-21st. I will be setting up a place for the festivities this week. The American Legion has been great about hosting previous events, so it will most likely be there again. There will be plenty of keyboards on hand, or you can bring your own. I'll also be finding a deal on motel rooms. I know it's the same week as NAMM show, but it all started because the Yankees can come at that time, so we'll just have to DO IT! DonM

Gary, you can call in sick like the executives do! I wish you could make it. I've already had a couple of guys say they will be coming in Saturday the 17th. That's cool too. I will probably be playing Saturday night, but can make arrangements for guests there. I'm sure the boss will give us some special treatment! I'm thinking the main Jam will be Sunday afternoon and evening. Monday we can do what we want--get together to pick each other's brains, examine gear, and generally have a good time. I'll be working Tuesday night, but the day is free. HankB and SemiLive will be sharing the hosting duties again, so we will have plenty to do. DonM
This will be the best JAM ever! Common people get your tickets & get yourselves down there....we gonna tear it up & have a great time for sure!! Plus you get to meet Fran & myself , play some music & have fun & laughs for a few days too... looking forward to meeting y'all. I also want to thank Don for hosting this great event.

Don, I'll be overseas (China) working on a packaging project for a tool line that will be imported and sold to the "big box" stores.
I need to get down to Florida to take care of some of the odds and ends from my grandmothers estate. If it works out, I'll swing by. Generally decide to go the next day, when things break. Want to get to New Orleans to check out the Habitat project there for retired musicians. Who knows, I may be a resident some day.
You folks "knock em dead"!

Frankie...when you arrange your flights..schedule a stop over in Dallas for a day or two( about 3 hour drive to Don's)..after Namm..you still have a couple days of Don's hospitality..

Hi all, as I'd expressed to DonM in a private email about NAMM show (Jan 15-thru 18) date conflict, so won't be able to make this one. Oh well, better luck next time. Have fun guys. Sorry I'm going to miss what looks to be an historic Yankee /Confederate match.

This looks like a good possibility for me. I just have to farm out one job and take a vacation day from church and I'm in. Sounds like a whole hell of a lot of fun.

Don't know about January. My daughter is having triplets and January and February will not be good months for us to be away. I will let you know. Those who missed last years Jam missed out on a lot of fun. Make it if you can. The hosts were great and everyone had a great time.
I'll tell you, I know Don M so many years, and have became very good friends, done business together, we've talked online & the phone countless times & it will be my honor & pleasure to finally meet him in person & enjoy a few days together. What will make it even better is to meet more of my SZ buddies also. I know I'll feel safe down there with Fran watching my back It will be a special time for me for sure. Can't wait.

Last April's Jam and visit to Shreveport was very enjoyable. It was good to put faces to names here on SZ...and great to hear everyone do their thing on their respective keyboards. Again, thanks to Hammer for letting me play his 3K.
January is my prime time here in FL so will have to pass.
Eddie ps---watch out for those casinos. I'm not sure, but I think they got the odds stacked in their favor.

Whats a great way to bring in the New Year meeting all my Musician friends under one roof. On top of that we get to Jam together, listen to each other play, brainstorm about what we all do...eat, drink, & be merry too!!

Hey Bill aside from finally meeting an aspiring songwriter like you..I would say regarding the PSR2000 that it is the player not the keyboard so dont worry just bring it along for sure, although years back I made a nice sum of money with that 2k on stage See you Boyz soon, brews on me

I can assure you, it will be a pleasure to meet you. That will be a hoot! And everyone else! Life is short, come on!
Take heart... you are not the only PSR-2000 aspiring songwriter still using the old workhorse. Sure, I'd like something more modern with lots of bells and whistles... but, this thing still gets the job done and was paid for by my old Ford Ranger Pickup Truck several years ago... in trade.
Maybe we'll hit paydirt someday with our songs and create instant inflation at George's Keyboard Emporium... LOL!

Hello everyone. I wish all a happy holiday season.
I would like to take this time to tell the people here ...I decided to keep the Tyros3 keyboard. After getting comfortable with the keyboard, I did find as many said I would...the Tyros3 is considerably a better keyboard than my now sold PSR8000..
Even my Dad, liked the keyboard, and he uses another brand.. Speaking of my Dad, I believe he will be visiting the "Jam" that is scheduled in the new year...
Again, have a great holiday season..
