The one thing this all points out, IMO, is that, in the hands of a competent player, ANY of these TOTL arrangers are capable of sounding amazing... We spend all our time kvetching about each other's arranger, the sounds, the OS, the weight, whatever, but when push comes to shove, the OS and sounds is about 10% of the equation, and the guy behind the keyboard is still 90% of the wow! factor... Put it this way... I'd rather listen to a great musician on an average arranger than the other way around! For most of us here, to be honest, a solid practice regimen will do more for your playing than a new T3 EVER will... It's a LOT less expensive, too [This message has been edited by Diki (edited 10-11-2008).]

Not often we agree, my friend, but you make perfect sense here. Time spent learning new chords and arrangements, and digging into your instrument's style creator and voice editing features can always bring new life to one's present arranger...and will save a lot of money for us working musicians, as well as the home player. And, another thing is happening as well...it's getting harder to promote TOTL arrangers when the mid-range have come so far. Now, most of the differences would be hardware and keybeds. Ian
