Thanks for your valuable info Inray!

Unfortunately I haven't managed to pay off my XV3080 yet so it's still waiting for me in the shop!!!! But any opportunity I get I go and play one whenever I can!!

I can't wait to actually get the new baby into my rack- It shall remain there for a very long time!!!!!! Cheers.

Thanks to Inray for pioneering the 5080 territory. I have two JV2080s and have ordered a 5080 to replace them. The same 32 channels and 128 voices with better dacs..sounds fantastic. In Canada it's June before I'll see it..so they say.

To KIKO..Galaxy hasn't been updated to support the 5080 unless miracle of miracles the 2080 librarian is able to work in some cludgy fashion (unlikley) or Opcode get's back to business (more unlikley) So you will have to look to Unisyn or Sound Diver. I too am interested to know how I'll get all my 2080 edits over to the 5080 without having to do sysex dumps to a sequencer. It's a shame that Roland doesn't follow Yamaha's path of providing free some very good editors for their products.
