I don't have buyers remorse, but I have been seriously checking out the upcoming Audya and been fiddling more with my Pa2x to see if I can change one of them into my main instrument...

Well, nice to see the pot calling the kettle black about 'buyer's remorse'! As the most frequent changer of arrangers on this board, shouldn't someone else be asking the question of you, rather than the other way around?

With nothing groundbreaking on the market, why get a 'next keyboard'?

Why not just wait for a groundbreaking one, and just make music (and money) until then..?

AADD (Arranger Attention Deficit Disorder) is a terrible disease. A friend would try to get you some treatment...

...an accurate assessment if there ever was one, Diki.

Maybe there's an AADD meeting in Donny's area?

"Hi...I'm Donny...and...it's been two weeks since my last keyboard fix...and I'm scared somebody's liable to slip me a T3 mickey...

so Ian are you KEEPING the t3 or have to return it like the rest & keep the s900 for your needs? After being emailed numerous times from T3 owners that wish they never bought the T3 & will now lose money in a return & repurchase of the T2....what I do is for my needs. The tyros 3 is NOT the bees knees for everone..

Not sure what I'm going to do Donny...I'm not gigging much (by choice), so I may get a CVP-409 and keep the S900 as well, just in case I get the urge to do a one nighter.

The S900 and CVP are compatible, so that may be the way I'll go.

I'm returning the P-85 sometime in the near future, and I want my 88's.

I also may be getting my Roland Jupiter 8 back again...the guy I sold it to is closing his studio and retiring...I'll get it for what he bought it from me.

If you want to check out T3 remorse, you might be better off checking out YPKO or PSR Tutorial...my own clients are quite happy with their purchases.

Yes, you're right...brainwashed...nothing wrong with washing out all that other brand clutter...too bad it didn't work on you whilst you were a dedicated member.

It's far better than having AADD like you do.

Ian

BTW...when are you going to send me that MP3 AND midi of you playing the E-60 in arranger mode? I want to hear those fingers doin' more than pickin' your nose, and tippin' your chicken hat.

Hey, I sent you some of my stuff...whatsa matter wit ya buddy?

I promise I wont put it on SZ...honest.

Just a teensy weensy ittsy bittsy instrumental(MP3 AND midi) so I can hear little Donny play using a style and ease my mind that he may be funnin' me with all this hype:

Quote from you..."I can perform naked, styles, smf, mp3 or a combination of them all plus vocals no problem."

I just want to hear you play using the styles, the rest I know you can do...you must do instrumentals...every pro has to pull one of them out of his hat on occasion...even if it is a chicken hat.

I think that chicken hat is rubbing off on ya...or is it?

I'm sorry too, Donny...I would have liked to hear you play and hear what you can do with your "new" E-60 in style mode.

Perhaps another time.

Here's my thought on Tyros3. I haven't bought one YET, but, there could be one in my future

This past weekend I had a chance to demo one at length. I loved what I heard. The SA2 voices, new styles, reworked styles and sliders make this an attractive option. Sure there styles and voices that were on the T2 and if you listen to those they are reminiscent of the T2.

I most likely would have bought one at the demo but I have a major project on my hands this month that will consume any spare time I have. I would have had little time to prepare for December gigs using the T3.

Will I have buyers remorse if I buy a Tyros3? To a degree yes, just like I had some degree of remorse selling my Tyros2 and G70. If I sell my Pa2xPro, I'm sure I'll have some remorse on selling that too. All comes back to my same thought the perfect one isn't made. It's what keeps me happy at the time. Maybe there is something to AADD.

Information all around --
Some is bad, and some is sound.
How can I decide which statements to accept?
There's a logical recourse:
Locate each primary source,
So conflicting sets of rumors can be checked.

CHORUS:
Show me the data.
You've got to show me the data.
If you don't show me the data,
Then how will I know?
Show me the data.
You've got to show me the data.
If you don't show me the data,
Then how will I know?

Hi Donny

I don’t believe you one second. The T3 is the best arranger out there and beats all the Roland arranger. I think you are sorry that you can’t afford one yourself.

Try not to take Donny seriously, Nielshs...most of us know his track record with being sucked into the hype, whether it's from a manufacturer, or someone he knows...he sells stuff, then buys it again...you can't take someone like that in earnest.

As far as affording it...who knows?

He's playing a second hand E-60, that replaced a second hand Tyros...all this gear juggling can't be easy on the wallet.

But, maybe he's got a rich uncle...Fran?
