Just wondering if Roland has any plans in the works for an upgrade in the near future. Would love to see EQ on style parts...... as it is now I have to EQ from my mixer but this is an Overall EQ....many times when I'm tweaking I wish I had the capability to EQ "separate parts" within a Style or SMF especially to bring some Sizzle to a drum track or brighten up dull parts.....ROLAND PLEASE READ THIS......
& please give us E60/50 owners a nice OS Christmas Present!

Im really loving this E60 & have it sounding best I can.....but as a perfectionist this lack of EQ deficiency really bugs me & I'm trying to mentally overcome it with the hope that ROLAND will come through with another OS asap.

Tsk tsk tsk...no EQ on style parts...on a mid line arranger?

Terrible.

I don't blame you for complaining.

The G70 got it in an upgrade...and I think the E-80 did too...maybe Roland will do the same for the E-60.

Pictures under the keys?

Oh, you mean the drum icons.

They are over the keys on the S900, making them even handier.

Really miss them on the T3.

Gee, I would have thought a pricey keyboard like the E-60 would have had EQ for the style parts...glaring omission for sure...of, course, it's a home keyboard, so I guess Roland figured nobody would use them....wrong assumption, obviously.

Hope you get your upgrade.

i hope for this kind of update, but i wouldn't hold my breath...
E60 is just a mid line indeed, and that doesn't make it a priority for roland, i understand that. so, we might never get our eq per track.
but is still ok...

In the meantime, do what we did before OS3 on the G70.... Filter cutoff and resonance tweaks.

In the meantime, used G70's are going for a song. A great arranger AND an exercise machine, all in one!

Maybe Roland didn't want to give "home players" another tool to screw things up..

Personally I can see the individual EQ messing things up for most people...just use a graphic EQ for the room....

Play around with too many things and you will build a system with total mess...Every time you play a different room..it will be different..EQ at the mixer and leave well enough alone..
As for the E-60, I didn't see any need for the part eq's..

Well, Donny doesn't think there's no need for style part EQ, and you sold him the E-60.

You convince him, and save Roland from doing an OS upgrade.

Personally, I'd rather have a decent quality keybed (and 76 notes) than per part EQ on a 61 with a toy keybed

The day you can EQ an S900 to sound as punchy and live as an E60, then that's the day that I'll admit the E60 is less of a keyboard without it...
