Without going into details, let me say that Frank is the man! He is an extremely accommodating dealer and one that should be recognized as such on this forum.

Zuki, DITTO. I just made a purchase from him today myself. As always I'm a happy customer.

So let's see....Hmmmmmm?.. who sold, traded, & bought a new keyboard?

Do we have now 2 more T3 owners?

No, I switched out to a backup 800. I love this board more and more each passing day. The 2X is a marvel, but too much machine for me. I didn't need all the things it offered. I just wanted to have a mirror image of what I use live, along with the onboard speakers. Call me crazy, but I like the keybed better on the 800.

Mine is a simple transaction...Steve's might be a different story

Did you tire waiting for OS 2.0. Or will you keep both the Pa2X and Tyros 3?

Kind regards,
Tommy

No Tyros3 for me Tommy, I couldn't part with leaving the Pa2xpro, not with it's great features for live use. But, I did miss Yamaha and didn't want to outlay the dollars to buy the T3. Gives me what I was missing from Yamaha and will work for me depending on size/type of gig. If I get really ambitious I just may use both at 3-4 hour gigs.

Yup !!

I could not agree more.

Frank is A-OK in my book !!

Still dig`n my T-3.

Frank , now you need to be a Roland dealer , just in case Roland comes out with a new arranger.

Just in case I would want to trade , not likely , but you never know.

Donny`s ways might be catching !! LOL

Later guy`s

Two keyboards at a gig is no more preposterous than a different ONE every month or so

I have always said that if the damn manufacturers would pull their heads out of their arses, and make it so two different arrangers could communicate easily over MIDI (start/stop, variation and fill changes, Intro/Endings and breaks at the VERY least) I would already be gigging with two... probably my G70 and an S900 (for the guitar strums, etc.).

Mind you, if you don't really play them a whole lot, I guess one makes more sense...

Good compromise, Steve.

Can't wait for OS 2.0. Last of my November program gigs tomorrow, then have 2 weeks to prepare for Christmas programs, (of course still have church services to support, but just one a week); this would be a great time to upgrade and play with the new features. Maybe tomorrow?

Graham as you know the Pa2xPro is just too good a board to give up. I'm happy with my compromise. Yeah, maybe tomorrow on OS2. Let's hope so!!

Synthzone is just such a great place. We can discuss anything with passion, even Korg OS 2.0 As you have experienced personally, Stephen, every new post about OS 2.0 is deleted by the administrators over at Korg Forums. And they use every occasion to dampen our excitement about OS 2.0. I wonder why. Do they know something that we don't? I also hoped for a release this week but I am not so sure anymore.

Kind regards,
Tommmy

Donny, that's like the half full and half empty glass analogy. You're right I'm ahead of the game!!

I had a post about OS 2.0 deleted yesterday, I see Kbrkr post about it was locked when I went to comment. I think you may be onto something about release this week. Paolo originally posted it would be ready in a few days, that was Wednesday November 12th, I always thought a "few" meant about 3 days ??

Maybe not in Italy

Recently the moderation on Korg forums has become a little to tight for my taste. We see deleted posts and threads nearly every day. Maybe it has something to do with the plans of letting Korg pay for the servers and bandwidth Still happy that we can say anthing we want about arrangers here at Synthzone.

Kind regards,
Tommy

I was told there was a major conflict in the latest OS..that had to be resolved..apparently creating havoc ..including lock ups...

The modified OS is suppose to be released by the end of November...We will have to wait and see how accurate this info is..

Better to wait a few months to get it right then have major problems after installation.
Whats the rush?.....the unit already sounds good. It will come out when ready.
