Haven't heard from Tony Rome in over a year. Is he OK? Still living in Cozumel and running his restaurant? If anyone has info, please share.

I talked with him a few months ago, he was having a rough time, tourism is way down, especially in the center of town where he is located. I'll give him a call in a few minutes to get an update.

I was wondering about Tony myself. Sure hope things are okay for him. Tourism is probably one of the first "industries" impacted by a financial crisis. Please keep us posted.

That big hurricane really dealth a blow to Tony...I hope he is doing well.

I talked with Tony this afternoon, he said business is very slow and tourism is way off due to the U.S. and world economy. He's still hanging in there, the wife and kids are just fine, and he said to invite everyone down to his part of the world to hang out in the restaurant and he'll have a jam session. Hopefully, I'll be able to take him up on his generous offer sometime next fall.
