I think it rather depends on what the sample does before a 'faking' consideration can be made... But the main point is that, if this is a demo for a dealer of the T3 (or Yamaha France, whatever), when voices are used that are NOT in a stock T3, that at least should be acknowledged.
And a sample can be anything from a single velocity hit of a percussion instrument (one of many), all the way up to the entire backing of a piece of music performed by real players. So it can range from not faking at all, all the way up to full blown karaoke. It all depends on how you use it.
