I had a techie here custom-fitting my XP60 with a synth-to-mic function (by rewiring the "Solo" button in Perf. mode) that would emit waves to make my chick singer behave; he gave up, said it was impossible to make a chick singer behave.

Too true.

So I suppose it's not realistic to get Roland to create a knob or button that will A) make my guitar player turn down and B) ensure that my bass player will show up on time.

But we can dream, can't we.....

The only way to get guitarists to turn down is to put sheet music in front of them.

KC26, that spec sheet would fit home use only. A professional like me needs at least four buttons:

1: Write Hit Song

2: Collect Royalty Check

3: Get the babes (maybe with additional "babe preview" and "babe category" buttons)

4: Get the drugs

I'm ashamed that the music business has such a connection to drugs. I'm a musician and totally denounce the use of drugs. I'm also 1/2 Italian and believe it or not -
my family has NO criminal ties either!(sarcastic...........maybe, just a bit)
Let's keep the "off color" side out of the future of the music biz, shall we?
We need to teach the upcomming generation that the 60's is OVER. It wasn't all that great anyway, and anyone that includes drugs in their life is just plain stupid.
Most of the acts at Woodstock were high as a kite and they sounded like CRAP. As monumental as that show was - it produced some of the worst recordings for the acts involved......and please don't get me started on the National Anthem by Hendrix.
