Thanks guys appreciate your birthday greetings. Michael thank you. Don got the recipe, thanks for that. After Donny raved about it I gotta believe its great tasting!!
Ian, glad to hear Bill and Bob reflect your sentiments
The Mrs and I spent the day on the ski slopes today. The skiing is terrific since the area we're at got blasted with 18 inches of snow on Sunday. Of course, that's on top of the close to 100 plus inches they received since late November. It was a great way to spend my birthday and forget that I'm in my late 50s.

Another January birthday boy here. Glad you had a good one Stephen. Here in So. Cal we are enjoying fairly mild weather. We got a little rain the last couple of days but for the most part it's been sunny and warm. In fact, about a week ago it got up to 85°. Sorry for rubbing it in. On a positive note, a lot of people DO like cold weather and snow in particular. Seems like you and your wife are two of them.
We have mountains near where I live that usually get snow during the Winter. I've been up to them many times over the years frolicking in the white stuff. Nice to visit, though I don't think I'd want to live in it for months at a time.
All the best, Mike

Mike Happy Birthday back to you.
We prefer warm, but when the cold and snow hits skiing is the " If you can't beat them join them" way.
You could have the best of both worlds if you were a skier. I've heard of folks in California who can drive a couple of hours be skiing one day in the mountains, then go to the beach near home the next. Not a bad program at all
Thanks, Manuel, Scott, Rikki
