Just purchased a set of V-Drums (The "Club Set" / what fantastic equipment!) I originally purchased the set for utilization as a MIDI Controller for an External Device [What I had hoped to accomplish was to record MIDI drum tracks by playing along with previously recorded tracks, sending MIDI drum data to my sequencer (Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.) For the very first try, I set the sequencer track up for Channel 10 & General MIDI Drums; & the TD-6 to "Local Control Off". The various notes/drums recorded fine; but the velocity was very low, around 50 even when I struck the pads very hard.
I then recorded a few tracks using the audio outs, with great results!

I would now like to return to the MIDI Controller setup; & have 2 questions:

1) How can I get the gain to full scale using MIDI out? (I don't want to bring the velocities & volumes up in the TD-6 & ruin those beautiful audio settings.)

2) I own a Roland JV-1010, which I use as a synth module with my sequencer. It's connected to the serial port on my computer. Is there a way to integrate the V-Drums with the JV-1010. Can it be done with Sound Diver, or do I just select the JV-1010 as my MIDI Device in the sequencer? Thanks.

Sincerely,
