This was one of the best Super Bowl games I have ever watched. It kept me in my seat all evening. Too many penalties, but...

Yeah Steelers; good game Cardinals.

It was a really good game ... but up until late in the 4th quarter, the Cards had almost 3 times as many penalties called as the Steelers ... ??? ...
t.
PS ... this game was ALMOST as good as last year's GIANTS win .. ...

A comment from the home of proper football....

I managed to watch the first half live, and it was one of the nest games I've seen in a long time. Pity I snored my way trhrough the rest!

I also stayed awake long enough to see the Boss'es half time spot which for me was the best half time show I've seen, period.

Did anyone listen to Jenifer Hudson's National Anthem? Man oh man, talk anout 'pipes'. An honest-to-god singer. May not be your cup of tea, but it's hard to deny her gifts.

chas ... I agree 100% .... I am generally a 'traditionalist', but this was perhaps the best Super Bowl rendition EVER !!! ...
and after all her recent tragedy, just an OUTSTANDING performance ...

Cassp,

Next year it will be the Lions. The Lions are getting cocky, they feel confident that they can go 0 and 16 next year. Plexico Burris has been given his punishment for the gun thing, he has to play for the Lions for two years.

Tom ... I think Plax would be a better fit with Dallas ... Jerry Jones LOVES that mentality ...

Oddly (some would say, to his credit), T.O. has never been in trouble off the field and of course he gives 110% on the field. HIs problems seem to be confined to the locker room and the press room. That being said, I probably wouldn't want to put up with him if I were a coach. Still, I'm guilty of enjoying great athletes play. I'm very conflicted.

They say that it's next to impossible to repeat - anything. So, I predict the Lions will be 8-8 in 2010. No Super Bowl for Detroit for some time yet. Let's just hope they can figure out how to win soon.

Technically, no. I think there's a difference when you're lip-syncing yourself. Playing (triggering) a factory INTRO on an arranger would be closer to Milli Vanilli. JMO, of course.
