Tony, buy a Scion. It has built-in Ipod connection, plus a standard miniplug Audio Input.
There's probably a cheaper solution though.

Tony, I had been using a cassette style that Brian spoke about. He's right about the FM Transmitter type, it's just OK and would work marginally at best. In RI since our airwaves aren't as jammed as they would be in NYC or other big cities the FM transmitter if you don't have a cassette player would get you by. I noticed an appreciable difference when I went from the FM Transmitter to the cassette option.

I like Don's idea about the Scion since you may not be in the market for a new vehicle here's another option.

Santa Claus brought me a Pioneer radio this past Christmas that not only has an 1/8 inch input jack, but also came with a free iPod adapter that works great. The radio was $129 on sale at Circuit City and the quality is above the stock factory radio.

Our buddy Frankieve is in the car stereo business you may want to contact him. What better way to spend the day having Frank's crew install a new stereo while you get to play all the new keyboards he has in stock.

I use the same as BBBB:

Mine is made by Sony though.
It works great. I don't have to do the volume thing on my car.
It's easy and doesn't cost much.
Good lunck

Donny, I've had XM for the last 3 years and have been very happy with it. Now that they merged with Sirius we probably get all of the same programming. As much as I like XM I'm on my last 2 months of my year long contract. I won't renew, it's not because I dissatisfied. I primarily listen to music on it there's a internet streaming site called slacker.com. They just made available for my Blackberry Storm an application that I downloaded to the device. I can stream music to the car and feed it thru the car stereo and it's all free. If I'm not mistaken the application can be used on all recent vintage Blackberrys.

Most new cars have built in capability. My 2008 CR-V, 2008 Toyota truck, 2006 and 2008 Scions do.

How "old" is that Plymouth???

My 2000 Honda doesn't have one. my 2002 GMC pick up doesn't have one, and unless I just haven't seen it, my 2003 BMW 325i doesn't have one ... are these "antiques" ?!?!?
Ans: No, just cheap radios!!!
And NONE of the above has a cassette ... never thought I'd be upset about that !!!...
