You just have to admit that these guys are slowly getting there...

Its not an everymans arranger..... but its a creative music writers dream....

Did something change? All I heard was the world's worst sax sample, and then a style that sounded humdrum at best with some VERY average sounds over the top of it. There was a guitar loop in there? Damned if I could hear it!

If these guys are slowly getting there, shouldn't take more than 20 years to arrive...

Can't anyone PLAY, over at Lionstracs? Maybe that accounts for it. If you can't play very well, how do you know what a player needs?

Why can't they just get someone who is a very good arranger player to demo the unit?
Some one of Michele Voncken calibur?....
I'm sure someone can fill the need.

I'm sorry that you thing so.

But I like aproch LIONSTRACS or other brave keyboards like WERSI or OPENLABS

This is for somebody new world but for me not.
I will try to explain in next days why.

I start now with ordinary things as they are possible with MEDIASTATION.

This is not future this is now.

And I'm not demonstrator I'm ordinary player that is usualy using two keboards on gig.

here are two links of mp3 made direct from keyboard with sounds like Mediastation is having:

Maybe just having a 'normal' arranger first might encourage you to try and learn to play well FIRST, before you go off the deep end with the MS, or Open Labs..?

You see, you don't put a Formula One car in the hands of a beginner driver, or even a regular day to day commuter. Too much power

This is my fear with the MS, etc.. It seems, from most of the demos I have heard, to have been mostly picked up by players that, let's just be kind and say seem to have considerable playing problems. Perhaps they look at the promo material, perhaps they look at the specs, and go 'this is VERY different.. maybe THIS is the thing that will make me sound incredible' rather than realizing the sad truth. Learning to PLAY WELL is what is going to make you sound incredible...

And after that, it doesn't matter much WHAT you play...

What have to compete here the Open Labs?
I missing some or now the Open Labs have one arranger engine too?

Point me some video link of the Open labs where we can see HOW they use this keyboard in Live mode.
All the video that they post, 99% are made as your all arrogant reply on this forum...only bla bla bla bla....

When they have to shown ONE sound, first they navigate with the mouse on the display for some minute..( and bla bla bla bla...like Diki)then manually..( menu>sub menu>select a sound>..press enter) and they are ready to play on the keyboard the sounds and what you hear? just pressed some chords...

then lool also on the video when thay have to use the reaper...minute of navigation on the display with the mouse or touch: Quit the Forte, open menu, select reaper, waiting that is inizialized, open the session, waiting that the whole song is loaded, select again one midi tracks OR the keyboard can not make the midi thru...
try to open Forte when the reaper is in play...midi error... can not used..
then you colse forte, close again the reaper, reopen the forte, reload the sounds...

Hey...is this the right keyboard for LIVE gig's??
you lose more time for the windows navigation that for play on the keyboard..com on....arranger players need this features? are then they able to play live with the styles?

Hey, NOT offense at Open Labs AT ALL!
Windows OS is full native for the VST stuff, BUT at this point IF I need one windows OS softsynth keyboard I will BUY the Wersi and with the Wersi you can MAKE the same stuff as the Openlabs + the TON of the available features.

I agree with you Diki........

Seems that Mediastation appeals most to people with a technicallbackground...

More then that it attracts people with a musicall background...

But if people with both backgrounds an addapt.... this might be an awesome piece of gear.
