Your E50?

I think it would be the perfect board to add to my 800 setup, since the 800 has the harmonizer, etc when I need it.

I'm unloading the VA because it's just too darn heavy (40 lbs + with case - call me a whimp) and a bit long in the tooth, although special in many ways.

Maybe list some E50 pros and cons if you don't mind.

Thank you Donny, or anyone else with comments.

Zuki....first off I didnt have a E50
Don Mason does & Hank B, as seen in the jam DVD's.....I actually had the E60 almost the same with 76 keys. But to answer your questions..

E60 key feel was very nice ...E50 is a bit lighter touch.

Great Touch screen But all grey scale no color display like the G70.

NO seperate PART EQ

No Mic input or VH

Great Makeup Tools & Cover tools best in the business.

Most sounds are very good...I didn't like the Brass patches.

No multi pads

Plays all G70/E80 styles verty well...some conversions needed major tweaking

No D beam on the 50

You need a CF card Adapter for storage No HD

great search features that save all parimeters, programs etc, etc. ...

theres a few more things pro/con but I can't remember them..

I still dont understand why you want to drag another KB into theh mix with your hectic schedule....in & out all day?
I knew teh VA wasnt for you

OK, thanks - I knew you had the E60 and I'm familiar with the differences. I was just looking for your live playing comments about the board. Good summary.

I don't know why I'd want to drag 2 keys around either Guess I'm an indecisive person at times and still think it would be interesting to have some variation. Besides, after selling one of my 800s, I have to have something in my studio now

Off to work - I mean performance
