I worked at a radio station that carried Paul Harvey. One day he had a story about something that happened in Hobe Sound, Florida. He pronounced it Ho-bee Sound. The correct pronunciation rhymes with "globe".

So, my boss told me to call Paul Harvey's studio in Chicago to correct him.

Now for the "rest of the story": I didn't. But, I said I did.

I remember hearing him talk about the dangers of radiation in watch dials. For a year or so, as a 6 year old, I'd run when I saw anyone wear a shiney watch.
