Are there huge differences between 1 and 2? The prices are $600 or so apart. Thanks for comments.

The big one is the SA voices! Body designed changed..., impoved sound quality, and quite a few other things. This issue did come up when the T2 was released and the discussions were whether the T1-T2 upgrade was worth it.., and if memory serves me correctly many found the upgrade to be worth the money.

Also..., wasn't the original T1's mega voice use reserved primarily for styles and not real-time play? I think that was an issue as well. If you can get the T2 and it's within your budget I'd suggest buying it. I was pretty impressed with the unit every time I demoed it.

Jim-

I have both. T2 is my gigging lb, the T1 is my backup...

Other than price, I can't conceive of a situation where I'd prefer the T1 over the T2. There's really nothing to think about, honestly...

You're welcome to give me shout...

Donny - how many times must I tell you? - I'm sticking with the MARVELOUS PA800 live. I'm looking for a studio board and maybe a 2nd board live with some variation to my act.

Thanks everyone. Going to buy the T2 today. Anyone have an extra couch

You're right. I think I need a shrink. Back to thinking about an 800 backup. For the extra money, I could get an S700 to do the same job basically.

Thanks for the thoughts............
