Docter says I have to stay another day or maybe two.
There is still infection where the rotten appendix leaked some, and my temperature is still up. I'm on some strong antibiotics and pain medicine.
I'm glad the basketball playoffs are on.
If anybody wants to call, I have my cell, or it's 318-212-7001 to call my room.

Unless Don had a laparoscope appendectomy procedure he will most likely be unable to fulfill his gig schedule for at least 2 to 3 weeks. The most important thing is to make sure no infection occurs and to get complete rest for a speedy recovery of course.

Glad you caught it time Don. A ruptured appendix would have complicated matters a little, to say the least. Rest up and get well soon. Oh, and try and keep your hands off those pretty nurses okay? >> Just kidding.

All the best,
Mike

Hey Don,
Glad to hear you came through the surgery okay. I'll bring you a load of Zwolle Tamales. That ought to help some

Hi Don,
Tried to call the number above. It doesn't work from way out here. Take good care. Hope to see you back at Ernest's soon.

The surgery was laproscopic. The doctor said he got it out just in time before it ruptured though.
He first said I could go home this morning. Now is looks as if it will be a couple more days.
Thanks for the support guys.
