I talked to Don today just before lunch. He's still got a fever but otherwise was in good spirits. He says he'd rather be out fishing or golfing.

Doctor just said that if I'm not better by tomorrow they will do another catscan to see if an abcess has formed where the appendix was.
White count is down, which is good, but temp is still up.

Hi Guys,
I'm still here, but I'm feeling much better this morning. MAYBE they'll let me go home today.
BillP came to see me last night, and Ernest (my employer) sent me a steak dinner.
It has been a long three days, but I'm counting my blessings for the doctors who caught it when they did and acted quickly.
Believe it or not, I'm getting tired of watching basketball games.
