When my daughter's triplets were born on Feb 7th they were 10 weeks early and had to be in the hospital. They stayed in the
hospital for nearly 7 weeks. During that time I sat down and wrote this song. Since I really don't sing very well I sent the
lyrics and a midi file of the song to Don Mason and Gary Diamond and asked them if they could record it for me. About that
time Don went into the hospital so he did not get a chance to finish his version. But thanks to Don for the work he did do
on it. The video here is with Gary Diamond singing - and a hugh thanks to Gary also. My wife and I surprised our daughter and son-in-law with the video and it was a really great moment. So here it is "Come On Home Little Girls" . I hope you all enjoy it and understand the meaning it has for our family. Just follow the link.

The link takes you to a website being done by the other "grandpa" Mr. Gary Younglove. It is a really neat site with lots of good info about many subjects.

Deane, sorry I never finished my version, but Gary did his usual fine job.
I'm just glad the babies or o.k.

Hi Don,
No problem, I figured you had your hands full with the hospital thing and all. Yea, the girls are doing great and two of them are coming home today!! The third one will probably be in the hospital for another 2-3 weeks. But she is also doing fine. The video was a great success and a wonderful surprise for our kids. It is the first time I ever tried something like this and I really enjoyed it. Now I am looking to get some recording software and play around with that.

Hope you are doing ok. I knew you were in good hands with Susan and all the guys there. I had my cataract surgery last week and that is going ok. Next one will be April 16th.

Well, thanks for the work you did get to do on the song - Glenda and I are thankful to have such good friends.

Hammer...
What a great idea, project, gift for your kids and grandkids and love to be shared for generations.

Kudos to you and Glenda, Gary Younglove, Gary Diamond and, of course, the triplets producers.

What a pretty song. Great idea for a website. May they grow and prosper and bring you joy for the rest of your years.

Deane is one of the "players" here, folks...lots of professional experience (did clinics with Louis Belsom, for starters) and an informed, gracious guy.

Congrats, Grandpa!

Well, two of the girls are home and grandpa and grandma are about beat helping the parents get with the program. Thanks to all of you for your very gracious comments and kind remarks.

Looks like I will be in and out of the forum on a less regular basis for a few weeks - have to make time to help the kids get off to a good start with the babies.

Thanks again,

Congratulations Deane!

I had no idea when I met you in Shreveport at the jam that you had such a big event coming up in your life. You have to me incredibly proud. And the song is great. I love it! I'll call Gary tomorrow and tell him what a great job he did. All the best and I'm looking forward to seeing you again at next year's jam.

Hi Joe,
Yes, That is why I had to leave the Jam early. We had no idea when the doctors would do the C-Section. With multiples they just try to get them to go as far along as is safe for everyone.
