Hammer,
I'm anxious to see your review of how the T-3 sounds through the L1-Compact. I tried to use the L1 without the B1 and I didn't like the lack of the punchy bass sans the B1 - even in small areas.
Glenn and Eddie,
I found that the Sona 31 works well for my smaller restaurant gigs, and I still use the L1 with either 1 or 2 B1's for bigger and outdoor venues. I also carry a Sona 32-SL in the van in case I need a little more punch. Several times, I have chained the 31 and 32, setting the 31 bass at about 11:00 o'clock and set the 32 bass at about 1:00 o'clock.
Ciao,
Jerry
