Hello,

Maybe I will keep the xp-30 .....the sounds are good and there are plenty off them but I find it difficult to manipulate.
The manual is not a big help.
The only thing I am interested in is selecting and finding voices .
I am not interested in changing the voices...I bought the expansion board supersound set and I have still a slot free for another one so I have voices enough.
I also bought Volume 1 fro patchman so voices no problem.

I only want to know a good manner off selecting quickly voices , eliminating the velocity (touchresponse) and loading soundbanks (as the Volume 1 from Patchman) in the xp30.
I also have a smartmedia card 4mb and a smartmediacard reader on my computer.
Can I copy patches to the smartmedia card and load them into the xp30 ?
Are there sites on the net where I can buy patches ?

A lot off questions...but you're answers will depend if I keep the xp30 or sell it.

Thank a lot,
Alain

This is Theodore from Greece. Turning off velocity response is very easy, in fact you can specify a fixed value for velocity no matter how strong you press the keys. Here is ho to do this:
1. Go to "System" mode
2. Select the "Keyboard" page (button 3 on the Tone Switch menu)
3. There you can find the settings for Transpose, Sensitivity, Velocity and Aftertouch.
4. Regarding Velocity, set "Sens" to Light and "Vel" to 127 (highest). This should do the work. Bye!
