Any other manufacturers who still in business I would say, just look at the Technics KN series.
Those of us who could try out the possibilities and easy way to do things on a KN, knows that
Roland, Ketron and others can't compete yet.
I've said it before, if Ketron added Technics' OS and build an Techtron or Kethnics, it would
sure be a WINNER !!

i meant sound editing as far as within a style, adding reverb , delay, eq, etc, to sounds of tracks, so sound FX editing is what i meant
