Why are the styles so saturated in reverb?

There is a global effects section, I'll have to check, I've had a couple of people playing it so they might have changed the settings, but overall you can easily change the master reverb send which is a great tool. IMO

Frank,
I did not modify the master effect by myself. We did some experimentation with them yesterday, but we put the values back to 40 for both left and right 'hand'.
We also modified the Gran Piano sound by increasing the amount or reverb (by the way it sounded awesome).

For our friends concerning about the jazz styles they were very genuine and sounded lively and real. The bossa and jazz bossa were also wonderful; you have to just get used to the time in which you push the autofills (or change variation).

Frank, what version of OS you have on the Audya?
Claudio

The flanging effect might be from the mixing of the audio track, the live mic?

at about 8 minutes up till the end there was some sort of technical difficulty. Sounds like there is an overlap of the beginning of the video, but it sounds like camcorder mikes, because we don't hear music, just you talking, and cars rumbling in the back and such.

Frank, thanks for sharing. You're smooth, but the styles sure aren't (IMO). Not impressed, but that's what makes this world go around and around..........

Maybe you could at least run a Zoom and post that separately, Frank. Youtube doesn't always sound that great... I think they downsample depending on server load or internet connection, something like that. The audio quality of the Audya is VERY much on everyone's mind... a high bitrate (256kbps+) MP3 ought to tell the full story better than camcorder audio on Youtube, anyway...

I had an offer to post an mp3, any suggestions for a site to host mp3s?

I notice that the chord display doesn't show the chord sequence of Intros and Endings, just the main trigger chord...

When, oh when is any manufacturer going to start doing this? I mean, what's the point of an Intro/Ending with chord changes when you might not know what they are or how long they are - sure, you COULD learn each and every one of them (HUNDREDS of styles with two or four different chord changes ) but that's pretty impractical.

It is WAY past time that the chord recognition analysis worked on the chords being generated by the In/End section, IMO....

Something else I noticed. Not only are the Ketron drums very good, but they are mixed (at least from the camcorder audio) quite a lot hotter than most arrangers default mixes are...

To be fair, you pump up MOST arrangers to that level of drums, and they are going to sound pretty live. It dismays me how much in the background many manufacturers (I must say, especially Yamaha) tend to mix the drums.

The drums sound very lush. I would love to play with one in person.

And yes, you'll buy me lunch at TailGators in
Derby if it still exists...lol.
Or maybe the Turkish one in West Haven...LOL.

Other than the exaggerated drums, which sound pretty darn good, the rest is average at best.

I really was expecting the styles to sound better.
