I've long said that Hammond clones are tough to put through a stereo PA, because the idiots that design them seldom include a 'spread' parameter, so if your stereo PA is placed 10-15' apart or more, the Leslie is SO exaggerated that it doesn't sound realistic up close (further back in the room isn't too bad). Things like the K4 are ideal, as the stereo width of the sound is not much more or less than a real Leslie.
Want better B3 sounds if you use a PA? Ask your manufacturer to include a 'spread' or 'width' parameter to the Leslie sim. Got one on my K2500, and it makes a huge difference to close down the sound if the PA speakers are pretty wide...
Obligatory G70 gripe... The Hammond sim section on the VK organ part of the G70 has no 'width' parameter. But the MFX insert VK Leslie sim (only usable on sampled B3 Tones) has got one... go figure!
