I think this thread signifies what really is going on.I was going to post "Here We Go Again" also, but why should I with this crap excuse laden support?... Sorry if this is insulting to anyone but that's the way I feel.kudos to all who participated.....and shame on the rest who didn't.

Oh I dont know Donny, maybe it's as simple as some people were not too fussed with the song choice

Dennis, thanks for that comment. It gives me the opportunity to ask for suggestions for our July eJam. Feel free to post them here or email your suggestions to me. Thanks.

Hey Cass NP

My thoughts are that perhaps you could look at posting Genres as the source, rather than specific songs. Maybe a swing/jazz month, pop month, rock month etc etc....

Think of it as a request from the audience, sure it's challenging but we're musicians right? I also think that if the task was to post ANY song you wanted we'd still have the same turnout.

I don't do those either, unless I know (or have a good idea of how it goes) the song

As for the same turnout, maybe. But then maybe not.

Donny, for me, the more I know a tune the more fun it is. I was just trying to point out that some folks may not have liked/did not know the songs, rather than simply not wanting to take part. Including me

I just felt your comment threw too wide a net.

I understood where you were coming from on it, I just disagreed

Hi Elizabeth,
if I'm not mistaken, Kn7 actually came with audio recording software. Unfortunately I sold my kn7, 5 years ago, and my memory is not too good.

Maybe someone on the Technics forum still uses the software.

Unfortunately I can't sing, or play well enough to bother trying to record a tune, so audio recording was not a function I ever really used much.

best wishes
Rikki

Thank you too for your offer to help...

What I said about recording my music is that I need to play into the sequencer on my Technics KN7000. Then I must learn how to transfer the music to my computer where I can then (with help) transfer the music to CD in the computer, or a flash drive or some other way, again, with help!

I know my KN7000 pretty well.... the computer is a greater challenge... I like the musical KB a lot better!

Elizabeth

Cassp and gang,

I finally got down a recording of Nearness of You....I did this during a demonstration of the Audio to USB recorder at one of my clinics this morning.

This is a pretty simple arrangement with mainly SA Sax, SA Concert Guitar, Live!Strings and a Piano/Choir layer....basically a quick record, with parts added...I was demoing the onboard sequencer.

No editing after recording...just used the onboard Audio to USB, and then loaded the WAV file into my laptop and made an MP3 at 192 Kbps.

I used a factory Bossa Nova style but I edited it quite a bit when showing how to use the onboard Style Creator.

I've made the style available to anyone with an S900 or Tyros2/3.

Hope you guys like it.

Ian
