Hi Cassp,

I've been busy with clinics/demos, but what I think I'll do is record a tune while I'm doing a demo..that way it will be recorded "live" and a better representation of how I generally do a tune.

I'll just hit "record" and then convert it to Wav. and then MP3 when I get back to my laptop.

I'll do the Bossa version of The Nearness of You.

Ian

Cassp, I have a tendency to wait towards the end of a deadline to submit things... gives me longer to do it, and longer to review whether it is how I want it to be...

We've still got nearly three weeks, don't we?

And Donny, glad to see you back here. Please be assured that nothing I posted here about your initial entry was intended in any way to chase you away from the eJam. Glad you are back...

Nice work gentlmen. I enjoyed all the performances. The pros as usual sound great, Donny, Bill from Dayton, Eddie. I may have left someone out I apologize in advance.

Cass, I guess the Brigatti Bros aren't the only blue eyed soul brothers.( that's a reference to a quote from Donald Fagen from the Album NY Rock n Soul Review 1991 btw it's a terrific album). You're as comfortable singing Here We Go Again as you are with the "Nearness of You."

Fred, I'm with Harold are you sure you're 76?

Just a reminder - instrumental versions are TOTALLY acceptable. this is not a singing or playing contest. It's just a fun little jam. Join us.

Donny, the month isn't over I have something in mind. Cass it will be instrumental. I think you knew that anyway, but thanks for mentioning it.

Bill in Dayton, Cass, Harold S, John Dileo, Stephenm52.
Thank you for your generous compliments.

Sadly, I have not played a Might Wurlitzer theatre organ,
but I’ll see what I can find on the psr-900.

Unfortunately ‘I am 76yrs’ but I have some very enjoyable
musical memories, that starts from when I was 14yrs,and still going.

John Dileo, that was very nice, a boost to my ageing ego.

Donny, pleased your back.
Fred Wren.

It's amazing at the meager turnout of contributions to the eJAM......but you'll see 500 posts on speakers, 200 posts on VST's...everything else but playing actual music.....just goes to show ya that "talk the talk" ratio to "Walk the Walk". I think this thread signifies what really is going on.I was going to post "Here We Go Again" also, but why should I with this crap excuse laden support?... Sorry if this is insulting to anyone but that's the way I feel.kudos to all who participated.....and shame on the rest who didn't.

Okay boys..... I will tell you why I have only read this interesting thread.....

The main reason is that there is way too much unnecessary criticism going on...really
picky picky stuff....

Other reasons are that I am a female, a senior (nearing 78 yrs), totally self-trained musically, love playing for live audiences, volunteer player with regular gigs, play TECHNICS KN models 7000, 6000. Have owned/played KN5000, 3000, & 1000.

Additionally, I do not know how to get my music from my KN7000 to the computer then to this thread.

I do not like criticism or negativity of any variety..

Elizabeth.....
