Ian, your interpretation of Masquerade,
was great to listen to. You are a great musician,
and can afford to give this old boy a pat on
the back.
Any more e-jams and I’ll wait till after your performance,
in case you give away your style. At least I’ll get that right.Lol
Thank you for style for Masquerade, which I down loaded.
Waiting to hear your next song.

Fred the Lurker.

Thank you very much, Fred...I appreciate your compliments.

The modified style really helped flesh out the tune...I just played the chords and the melody...it's a pretty simple arrangement, and the way I like to play the arranger.

I keep telling you "be careful what you ask for" ...

Actually right now I am busy preparing some tunes for a 'musical tribute' for the band member and close friend who passed away last year ...
His son owns the Falcon Arts Center in Marlboro NY, and the tribute will be held on July 25 at the center ...

Hi Cassp
as Tony said, "be careful what you ask for"

Probably my first & last contribution. haahaa as I never record anything.

The style I used is based on the unplugged latin in my Korg PA800.

The last 2 variations have been modified. I replaced the accomp. tracks with guitar & a guitar mode track (from another style.)
Redid the intro's & endings.
If anyone would like a copy of the style, let me know.

Don't know if it was the right choice of style for the song? but had fun doing it anyway.

best wishes
Rikki

p.s. Deliberately haven't listened to anyone else's songs as yet, just in case I chickened out.
Now I can download them haahaa

Hi Rikki
I thought it was a good job, indeed. I like the style and the sound of the sax. you ought to post more of your work.

Rikki, I am certainly glad I asked for more. Your version is so clean and easy to listen to. I particularly enjoyed the style; it was spot on. The sax was very nice, not too fancy or jazzy. I would have liked to hear a short vamp at the end, just to hear your playing style a little more. I certainly hope this is not your one and only eJam entry, as that was a most pleasurable recording. Keep it up, you did well. Thanks.

Cass

Rikki...
Deee-lightful. I had not heard that particular style before and it was very interesting and appropriate to the song. Nice sax and a very smooooth feel from start to end.

Rikki,

Absolutely a fine piece of work...simple, yet very effective approach...great style, and smooth phrasing.

Looking forward to more of your work.

Rikki, very nice and relaxing, I liked the sax and rhythm.
The wife said she could imagine a couple dancing to
the Latin style.
We both liked it. Look forwarded to more of your work.
